Not only do us LLF fans like to communicate with eachother on the LLF Message Boards (http://www.lowlevelflight.com/phpbb/), but the band members also like to give their opinions, and update us on whats going on in their life. Here are some things they have posted.

*Hey Guys well the show was a huge blast, Mike and I had a great time. The new music is going over really well and we couldnt be happier, hope to see you all out on Friday....Things are crazy busy I havent been this busy since Sept 03. For real.....Cant wait to see you guys
*Hey there guys so we have our first batch of Tee's ready and will be available at the Jamboree....Hope you like them...
*Just wanted to say hey to some new memebers to the board, nice to see an auzzie in the mix. We cant wait to play on saturday should be an incredible show. I know they are doing radio contests on kingston and belleville stations for the show. So listen in for free tickets...Cheers
*the more you practise the better, just know that when you get on stage.. you are as prepared as you could ever be and that you will do your best. Thats all we can ask of oursleves...Im sure you will rock, Good Luck!
*Hey guys, at 8:10 am we are doing an interview on Mix 97 in Belleville, regarding this weeks show...The interview will be tommorow...Have fun
*not that im counting but i sold twice as many as they state...get it right hahahaha
*Hey guys and gals just wanted to personally thank you for coming out to our first show. It was a huge success and we had a blast. Some more than others..Just to give you a run down on the night. We got there at 4, set up with beer in hand. played our show, and drank some more, then simon sat on the wooden fence and broke it in half. Thats pretty much how the whole night went haha. Dead celebrity were awesome and rocked out as well.
*In answer to Gwen's Q's We are actually not attempting to book shows, as we are in the studio all of August and most of September. All of the gigs we have done thus far, have been set up by people coming to us. But i know for sure we will be playing Windsor soon enough...Ryan....Im response to the Q about the last concert we have been too..umm I would have to say Stereo Drive By, and lee's palace. Other than that I have seen too many bands to recall which one was the last, maybe...Cake.
*He has very tight leather.........hahah especially in the ass region
*I actually had a baby doll, I was going to hold out the window..but yeah know...
*We are working on All Ages show right now..so fingers crossed....
*His ass is tight no matter what he wears ladies..did i mention he single? hahahah
*Just to let you guys know, I have booked a part in the new Hairsprey Movie with John Travolta, however they are just using my voice, still cool though..i think? hah

Simon has finished laying his drums and we are moving on to guitars...We are having a blast, we are going have some video clips up soon for you guys, so you can watch us being idiots. Its quite entertaining actually. I know you guys are as excited as we are...for the release. Talk to you soon
*I will do my best to get the guys out for this great day..cheers
*this is a fundraiser for sick kids. There are four bands on the bill. Sociallight, FYI, Dead Celebrity, and of course LLF. It should be a great night of fun and rock....however most likely not as loud as picton, but you never know..So yeah i beleive doors are at 7:00. It would be nice to see some of you out for sure..Not sure what the cover is perhaps 10.00$ See you there
*Welcome david. The songs will be up on Itunes as soon as we are done the record.
*Yes, thats the way it works..First you lay a scratch guide track and then lay the beds..
*We hope to see you all there on the 15 at the hardball. Should be a kick ass event. I know it will be loud hah.
*Yes all the instruments are done at different times....
*Its hard for parents to see something like that happening, especially if they have never been down that road. For example it was easy for me, due to the fact that my father had been a singer ect...My advice to you is to keep practising and start writting your own material, and just make a cheap little demo. Show your folks that you are serious, I remember when i was young...i would tell my parents I wanted to be something different everyday...so just give it time and do your thing...I will tell you its not easy this business, infact its pretty nasty haha, but you get used to it. Good Luck Ryan
*Just to let you know, we have filmed an interview for CJOH ottawa. Not sure when it will be on...LLF
*No they came to us....no time for travel when your in the studio....I do miss Ottawa though

And what time thanks, I will try my best to bring some things for prizes ect ect..take care Ryan
*Hey Everyone, how are ya? Hope you all had a great thanksgiving, I know I am still stuffed. regarding this weekend, I am still not sure what time I can make it there for, or how long I can stay. We have just recieved deadlines from the powers" that be, and we have to record all weekend, there is still so much for us to do. I will say that the sinlge is going to be hitting the airwaves very very soon. The recording is going great and we are having a blast, but just to give you an idea of how urgent things are, I was in the studio until 3am last night doing Vocals, and it will be much of the same all week. Unfortunately the guys will not be able to make it down to kingston, as they have other commitments. If I cant come down to the FSG which will Suck, I will have to do a confrence call or something haah....I will try my best to get so much done before saturday, I even have to work on my birthday, oh well thats the price you pay for making something great! I will keep you guys informed, Ryan

*Mike and Simon are no longer part of the band, but will always be part of the family....We wish them nothing but success....
*Hey there, so i have notice quite a few new members to the boards, thats great!....But as you know we are greedy and want more. We are having a contest to see who can get the most people to join. The winner will recieve a signed T-shirt from each member of the band. lus Shaun has agreed to a private dance(depending on age of course) to the winner Stay tuned for more contests, that i will pull out of my ***! Everytime someone joins, send me a message so i can keep track. The contest will run from today for one month. Good luck and happy hunting haaha LLF
*your gonna have to wait for the press release, shhh gotta keep quiet about these things until the time is right....ahahah but good question, you will be the first to find out cheers LLf
*Well okay..haha....Over the past three years I have been able to travel all over the world. I am addicted to it bad. Recently I was in colombia, I spent some time with the locals really getting into the culture ect. Usually when I head abroad, I steer clear of the tourist areas, doesnt really interested me at all. For example last year in the DR, Ainsley and I rented a jeep and drove for almost 6 hours to the other side(haiti) and hung at some locals house, it was great just chillin and really seeing the other side of things.. Most of the time I will just rent a scooter( i know)..and tour the country. Infact I spent that entire week in Rome alone, just experiencing everything on my own. Anyways long story short, I have been working on developing a show which includes exploring different countries and the music within. So yeah thats preety much it!
*Hey there we will have info on our new family very soon, we have been rehearsing for the last month and a half getting ready for upcoming shows......Stay tuned...Ryan
*So i know you have been waiting patiently so here it is....On Lead Guitar Dave Carter, On Drums Brandon Merenick. These guys are great, and for those of you coming to the brampton show, you are in for a treat. We have been working hard for the last four monhts recording and rehearsing....If you have any Q's for Dave and Brandon(fireball) please post em...Cheers..
*I believe the winner is Gwen, thanks for everyone that participated in the contest. We will have many many more to come. Gwen if you could maybe send you address to the myspace inbox. I will make sure i get the shirts out to you ASAP.. Thanks again everyone...Cheers, LLF

*I guess you will have to wait and see.. haha we are just finishing up the art work for the album cover.
*You all will be the first to know when its time to start calling in and requesting,,
*hey, just want to let you all know that we've started blogging on our new official myspace account: www.myspace.com/lowlevelflight. we'll be on there often giving updated information about the single, album, and more, so make us one your friends, check back often, and help spread the word
*Hey everyone, so the past two weeks after the holiday season has been a blur, the guys and myself have been rehearsing non-stop to make sure when we hit the stage we kick some serious ass. I have to say the band is coming together so well, we are really starting to mesh and gel. Our night at the rehearsal studio usually goes like this, I arrive first then maybe Shaun or Dave, Brandon and James usually pick up the rear haha. We sit and watch two minutes of the hockey game. The hit the tunes, I will say I think I'm going deaf, which is a bad thing, so perhaps plugs are in order, no not for my hair Shaun! I will say we have had some surprises in the space. Two weeks ago we were graced with a new fan, a mouse, Shaun does not share my enthusiasm for the new member of the band but hey i like animals. So after that there has been a lot of throwing grey furry objects in Shaun's direction. Dont worry no animals were hurt in the prank! So anyways yeah its been great in the space with nothing but old xmas lights and loud LLF songs being rocked out in front of a very appreciative rodent. Its been a great 5 months of recording rehearsing and setting up press, for what we promise will be the album you have all been waiting for. Along with setting up interviews getting ready for release and single service, I have been getting ready for yet another move from my north Toronot home. As of Feb 1st I will be moving yet again, this will be the 5th in the last three years well 6 if you count the Mansion ha. I will still be in the city. we just are putting the finishing touches on the art work for the record which is exciting, damn i look good, haha i love air brush! Also some of you may be confused with the number of myspaces running, the old myspace is no longer the official band myspace. So any comments you wish to leave, leave em there. Anyways with a new year comes new expectations and we have lots of oursleves, 2007 is already shaping up to be a great one. We look forward to seeing all of you. Cheers Ryan
*Okay so after reading the first two paragraphs I knew I would have to reply to this, that is a very good question with many possible answers. While he is right in saying one size does not fit all, his quotes on cost are a bit off base. To give you an idea of how much and average record with proper distrobution, recording, mixing and mastering, the cost can be anywhere from 30k to well over 250k. Usually producers in Canada will charge around 2k a track just to produce that does not include studio time or mixing or engineering. Making a record in your buddies studio or in your home on your laptop is a much more cost effective way of doing it, so i guess it all depends on A: how much coin you have, B: how serious you are about making the record. However with todays technology many bands are able to make serious recording with just that, their laptop. As for time it take to put out a record that depends on alot of different factor as well. For example, what other artists the label has coming out and when. labels dont want their artists competing with each other. Release dates can also been influenced by whether or not the single has enough time to do something at radio. hope that helps! Great Question.
*Good Question, as with alot of artists there are many behind the scenes people involved with a project, luckily for us, we have been on the same page with the label from day one, so the single was an easy choice for us to make...However as im sure you can guess, that was not the case with my past (wink wink)
*VOTE VOTE VOTE HAHA.....thats wicked news and great finds..i had no Idea
*Hey everyone, welcome back!
We've missed you and we're anxious to hear what you have to say about the record. Hope you love it!
Thanks for your patience over the last while. Lots has been happening with the band lately, and full updates are coming. Also lots to get excited about: another promo tour, the filming of our first video, new photos, and some concerts. Stay tuned.

*Hey Everyone..Just a quick update, this past Monday we had our newest photo shoot...ETalk came to hang and interview the band so tune in to watch...Also Big news soon on western press appearances..So stay Tuned this week for more. Ry
*Ha ha..Well i guess you will have to listen and figure those out.....Sorry...but lyrics are sacred and should never be printed, only sung...and felt.
*and if you believe that then...i guess i wont write them out hahahah JK....i think we can dedicate a topic to lyrics...but lets make it interesting....see what you can come up with...you might know more of them than you think....then i will try my best to remeber them haha...Ryan.....(ps were headin out west tuesday...so stay tuned for media alerts and low flying planes...
*OKAY so here you can post your interputation of our lyrics..see what you come up with, we will try to correct, however im sure some of you know them better than us!.....
*hey everyone be sure to tune in tomorow at 3pm for a live interview/performance with LLF on Kingston's ROCK!.....Peace out Yo!!
SHAUN
*i'm into lots of stuff (other than eighties music) like aimee mann, stars, radiohead, sarah harmer and also classical and jazz music.
groovy
*i listen to more traditional instrumental jazz. like miles davis, bill evans, john coltrane, jaco pastorius, keith jarret, thelonius monk, ray brown, oscar peterson, and tons of others.
*wow! i've been telling people about stars for a while now. 'your ex-lover is dead' is brilliant!!!
*other than their hockey team, montreal is my favourite city in canada! now don't get me wrong, i've been to every major provincial city(except for st. johns) and they all have their individual charms, but there's something about montreal that i really love. i could eat shwartzs every day!!!
*i'm a big food fan, so i like to try things unique to certain areas. in montreal i had to have smoked meat and steamies, in philly, the cheese steak, in antigonish, the mclobster sandwhich, and tons of others. i even had some of the most delicious, greasiest fried chicken in new jersey!
*i love canada! the geography is so diverse. i still remember the first time i saw the rockies...driving west out of calgary. we had 'adagio for strings' by samuel barber blaring in the van. it was momentous!
*i consider myself very lucky that i've seen most of this country. it's very beautiful. newfoundland is the only province i haven't been to. but hopefully soon!
*i had an excellent greek salad at the 'sidetrack' in edmonton. and if you're at 'wild bill's' in banff, try the bison burger!
*as a musician, one of the coolest things about alberta (besides no pst) is the fact that you can buy beer from the bar after last call!!! canmore rocks!
*so...you want to know when my birthday is...it's november 9th...i prefer cash.
groovy
*hey guys, i just want to say thanks for voting! keep up the great work!!!
shaun
*well then. here's my proposition. let's make change for me #1 on friday! i noticed that if it's #1 on friday, it stays #1 all weekend when they repeat the countdown!!!
*you guys are the best!!!!
* for me, the casbah in hamilton and the trews show in kingston are 2 of my favourites. they were packed club shows where everyone was at the front of the stage rocking out!!!
BRANDON
*Hello everyone,
Thanks for all the welcomes. I do apologize for the late reply. Things have been very busy with rehearsals. Anyways, both those pics are of me. I did one day wear plaid pants, but they borrowed them from Ryan, so he is to blame. Yes, I did ride a moose at king and bathurst.
*Dave and I didn't think anyone was saying dirty things. We have been just doin some crazy rehearsing, so we do apologize for the late replies. Tell Ryan to stop workin us so hard. We will be comin on here as much as possible to chat it up and answer any questions
